Getting started with Daily Grand

A $3 Daily Grand entry includes five main numbers within 1–49 and one Grand Number within 1–7. Extra is available as an optional $1 add-on.

On the Playing Guide page, enter five main numbers and one Grand Number, or choose Quick Pick. Continue stores the selected line. Before checkout, review the game, drawing date, numbers, Extra and payment total. BCLC's central gaming system assigns a ticket ID once the play is registered.

The Grand Number is an additional selection between 1 and 7 made alongside the five main numbers. It is required for the highest prize tier, while a Grand Number match alone qualifies for a Free Play.

Adding Extra to an eligible entry costs $1 and appears separately at checkout. Four numbers between 1 and 99 are assigned without manual selection. Matches pay $500,000 for four numbers, $1,000 for three, $10 for two and $1 for one. Daily Grand does not require Extra.

A Grand Number match with zero main-number matches (0 + Grand) earns a Free Play. The resulting line is entered automatically into the following drawing.

Draw schedules, prizes and probabilities

Drawings are held every Monday and Thursday just after 7:30 PM PT. The deadline for online ticket purchases is 7:21 PM PT.

Complete your purchase by 7:21 PM PT on a drawing day to enter that evening. Purchases after the cut-off are entered into the next scheduled draw.

Daily Grand has nine prize levels. Matching only the Grand Number gives a Free Play; the two highest levels offer $1,000 per day for 5 + Grand Number, or $25,000 per year for the five main numbers. Two main-number matches without the Grand Number do not pay out.

Yes. The grand prize can be taken as a single $7,000,000 payment instead of $1,000 a day for life, and the second prize as $500,000 instead of $25,000 a year. The choice is final and cannot be reversed. Where more than one ticket wins the same for-life tier, the cash payout is the only option. The for-life annuities are guaranteed for a minimum of 20 years; if the winner dies inside that period the balance goes to their beneficiary or estate.

Per $3 entry, the approximate chance of any award is 1 in 6.8. Around 90% of winning entries receive either a Free Play or $4. The highest prize has odds of 1 in 13,348,188. The Playing Guide contains the complete prize table.

It depends on where you bought the ticket and the amount. Online: up to $9,999.99 is credited automatically where the payment system supports it; $10,000 to $24,999.99 goes through a separate validation; $25,000 and over needs a prize claim. Retail tickets are redeemed at a retailer, a BCLC prize payout location or a BCLC office. For-life prizes always follow the for-life claim process. See How to claim a prize.
